Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.” The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a Sole Source basis to Synergy Microsystems, Inc., 9605 Scranton Rd., Suite 700, San Diego, CA 92121 for VME based single board computer test equipment for support of at sea testing. The test equipment includes Manta QX Quad PPC7457 w/133MHz Memory Controller – 4 each; PCA/TAFS-STD Rear Transition Modules – 4 each; VXWORKS/STAR - 4 each; Tornado 2.2.0/VxWorks – 1 each; VxWorks Basic Board Support Package/Boot Code Maintenance Agreement – 1 each; Synergy Scientific Subroutine Library CDROM – 1 each and Computer Guides. The Government intends to issue a solicitation to Synergy Microsystems using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 in less than 15 days. The anticipated award date is 2004 June 25. This action is being processed on a Sole Source basis due to the fact that Synergy Microsystems is the only known manufacturer that will meet our requirements. This equipment is necessary for 100% compatibility between the existing data records, previously developed software and recording system for at-sea testing.
