This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitaion; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-9. The Office of Naval Intelligence has a requirement to procure: 1) Varian Small Format Amorphous Silicon Panel PaxScan model #2520V (flat panel detector with GadOx screen); 2) NSI X-View IW Digital Image Processor (hardware should include one Dual Core Xeon Processor, 1 Gigabyte RAM, 100 Gigabyte hard drive, DVD-RW, 10/100 network interface card, 24 high resolution flat panel display monitor, digital frame grabber); 3) Seat to the NSO Digital X-Ray Class; 4) Installation and Tranining at the Office of Naval Intelligence. Evaluation will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. The FAR provisions in 52.212-1 pertain as well as clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5. Offers will be accepted via e-mail prior to the close-of-business on 4 September 2007.
