Headquarters Standard Systems Group (HQ SSG) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Wind River Systems, 1213 Culbreth Drive, Wilmington, NC 28405, to provide WR-ALC Green Hills Tornado 2.1 software. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The existence of copyrights and data proprietary to Micro Focus preclude any other source from providing the full range of services required to meet the Air Force's need. A Firm-Fixed Price contract for one year is contemplated. The Air Force has determined that the required services are commercial items as defined in FAR 2.101. Solicitation and award will utilize FAR Part 12 procedures, terms and conditions. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within the next 10 days or submit proposals.
