It is the intent of NAVAIR Orlando, Training Systems Division, Orlando, FL, to award a sole source purchase order, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), to General Dynamics C4 Systems, Inc., 77 A St., Needham, MA 02494-2806, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. General Dynamics is a large business. The Government has a requirement for: (1) 3 each TACLANE-GigE Unit, includes external AC power adapter,one RS232 console cable, two duplex fiber optic cables with adapters, one pair 10 BaseT cables, one space CIK with tag and one operator manual, Part No. GE-99100-1, (2) 4 each, FASTLANE KG-75/75A. Annual Hardware and Software Maintenance, includes one-year hardware/software maintenance for Release 3.0, Release 2.0 FASTLANE units that were upgraded to Release 3.0, or later versions. All maintenance performed at the GDC4S Depot. Unit must be in good working condition at time of maintenance purchase, Part No. FL/MTN-1. Items are nondevelopmental. This sole source award is based on General Dynamics being the only manufacturer with the design, form, fit and functional characteristics required.
