Washington, DC 20594 intends to award a Sole Source Contract pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) to MSC Software Corporation for software support for EASY5 engineering modeling tools. Boeing Company has sold EASY5 software and all rights to the software to Mechanical Dynamics Inc., (MDI), a subsidiary of MSC.Software. Anticipated award date is February 16, 2004. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time February 13, 2003. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
