The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) on behalf of the Program Executive Office - Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO-C4I), Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office (PMW 790), intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) number N00039- 13-R-0034, for the commercial item acquisition of 785 Panasonic CF-31 (Part number CF-31SFLAX1M) or equivalent, 712 Panasonic CF-52 (Part number CF- 52SLGDD1M) or equivalent, and 785 Panasonic CF-31 Optical Drives (Part number CF-VDM312U) or equivalent per FAR 11.104 and 15.101-2. The salient physical, functional or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an "equal" item must meet to be acceptable for award are as attached hereto. The Government anticipates issuing a full and open competition per FAR 6.100 without further notice in June 2013. The solicitation will be available to interested parties, along with any amendments issued, solely on the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central Website (https://e- commerce.spawar.navy.mil/). Contract award is estimated for July 2013, with delivery of all units required by August 2013.
