The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) announces the intent to enter into sole source negotiations and award of a follow-on delivery order to YAHOO RESUMIX, 701 First Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 for renewal of site license maintenance support for standard integrated software used by the DISA Career Management System Team (CMS) to support the recruitment and placement of civilian personnel. The Secretary of Defense (OSD) has manated the use of this software for all DoD Agencies and forbidden use of an alternate technology to that of Resumix. Renewal is required to continue automated processing of recuitment and placement of civilian personnel as well as technical support services. Renewal will enable DISA to maintain its current resume processing capability of supporting the process and evaluation of candidates for positions within the agency. The period of performance will be for twelve months with an option to renew for an additional two six month periods. It is the Government’s intent to make award utilizing GSA Schedule 70, General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software, and Services. It has been determined that a sole source award to Resumix Yahoo for continued services is in the best interest of the Government and would best satisfy the Agency’s needs. This determination of the Government was made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(4) and is solely at the discretion of the Government. There is NO solicitation document.
