DESC: The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to PSSC Labs, of Mission Viejo California, for a Rackmount Dual XEON PowerWulf Cluster. This acquisition is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7020. The NAICS code is 334111.
This procurement is for support of the AFRL/PRSA Plumes Group for use in conjunction with two existing 17-node PowerWulf Cluster.
The following items will be procured: PSSC Labâs Rackmount Dual XEON PowerWulf Cluster (Beowulf-Class Computer Cluster). This cluster must be compatible with two existing PSSC Labs 17-node PowerWulf Coputer Clusters, such that the three clusters may be linked together to act as a single 51-node, 102-processor computer. Complete interopperablity/compatibility will be required. Clear and expedient technical assistance will be required when called upon.

Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Governmentâs requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to www.arnet.gov to get a copy or contact the contract specialist by email to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 7 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
