The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Washington Detachment, intends to award a sole-source contract to Quova, Inc. of Mountain View, California to procure software and support for the Quova Host Name data file. The service will include upgrades, installation and integration of Host Name Database Services, one server, and one failover server. The software will provide access to unlimited queries per month, conversion of DDS License, and Host Name file creation and delivery. Interested vendors with Host Name data licensing should also provide IP geolocation information compatible with the software developed by Boeing-Autometric. Quova, Inc. was the original installer of the current software. The contract will provide quarterly updates service for the NCIS located on the Washington Navy Yard. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance is anticipated to be from date of award through 30 September 2004.
