[NOTICE OF INTENT] - The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to procure SmartClient and NewLook Enterprise software license user maintenance on a sole source basis from Look Software PTY. LTD., located at SE 9 L1 622 Ferntree Gully Road, Wheelers Hill, Victoria, Austria 3150. The circumstances of this procurement justify acquisition on a sole source basis. SSA anticipates procuring this software maintenance pursuant to the authority of the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996), specifically Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) paragraph 13.501(a) Sole source (including brand name) acquisitions.
