The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC), intends to procure three hundred eighty (380) Motherboard Upgrade packages for 500MHZ MICRONPC workstations. The motherboard upgrade packages shall include the following: GIGABYTE GA-7DX+ ATX Motherboard for AMD processors - must be the GA-7DX "PLUS" motherboard and must be a retail package including IDE ATA-100 cable; AMD Athlon XP 1800+ or faster CPU W/266 MHZ FSB; Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu+ heatsink and CPU fan; Two (2) 256MB PC2100 DDR DIMM memory modules for each upgrade- must be 184 pin, 2.5V DDR SDRAM (266MHZ), unbuffered, and must support the Gigabyte GA-7DX+ motherboard with AMD Athlon XP Processor; One (1) 20GB harddrive- must be ATA-100, 3.5 inch form factor, at least a 2MB cache buffer, less than 9 MS seek time, and 7,200 RPM; Two (2) case fans for each upgrade to fit the older MicronPC case - must be 92 X 92 X 25 mm ball bearing motor (12V DC) with a 3 pin connector with a 4 pin power in-out adapter capable of at least 42 CFM of air. A delivery time of thirty (30) to forty five (45) days after award shall be required. No request for proposals (RFPs) will be issued other than this notice. The following provisions and contract clauses apply to this procurement: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. A contract with the terms FOB Destination is planned with delivery to the Missile and Space Intelligence Center, Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500. Include any applicable shipping and handling charges in your quotation. No substitutions or deviations are allowed at this time. Award will be to the low offeror that meets the aforementioned requirements.
