The Government intends to award modification to Mythics, Inc. on a sole source basis. The proposed contract action is for approximated 1,564 additional hours of consolation services under W91QUZ 06 A 0003/BM01. Only Mythics has the proprietary knowledge and expertise necessary to ensure a fully integrated Soldier Equipping System (SES) which is the objective of the contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(iii) for follow-on services.

Interested persons may indentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 5 May 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for thepurpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
