This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as request for proposal No. DCA300-03-Q-0002. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one soure, Tandberg, Inc., 1860 Michael Faraday Drive, Suite 250, Reston, VA 20190, under the authority of FAR 6.302. The North American Industry Classification System is 334220, 750 employees. Contract Line Items: 0001, Base Year-Tandberg Quick Start Maintenance Service on eight units of Tandberg 2500 Videoconferencing System, 12 months. Option I-Tandberg Quick Start Maintenance Service on eight units of Tandberg 2500 Videoconferencing System, 12 months. Option II-Tandberg Quick Start Maintenance Service on eight units of Tandberg 2500 Videoconferencing System, 12 months. Maintenance Service includes hardware and software upgrades, tele-support, hardware repair and returns. Company must be factory training and authorized to service Tandberg 2500 Videoconferencing System equipment. Delivery: FOB Destination Service Date: 17 MAR 03 Service Destination: DISA-PAC BLDG 107 WHEELER AAF, HI 96854 The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the low, responsible, responsive offeror. The offeror shall submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commerical Items, with its offer.
