U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Engineering & Support Center, Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Lynda.Com, Inc., 6410 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA 93013-2925 for the purchase a Lynda.com license renewal to provide continued access to proven, easy to use computer web based training (CBT) to be used by ACE-IT. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has a current requirement to maintain Lynda.com Licenses to allow ACE-IT's Information Product Services Division (IPSD) to access computer based web training for approximately 100 of its personnel. Lynda. Com provides a timely and minimal cost solution to enhance training and skills. The period of performance for this requirement is 20 March 2015 through 19 March 2016. Lynda.com does not authorize the use of re-sellers or partners to resale their proprietary training service. All lynda.com training is conducted by directly assessing content on lynda.com website

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to [email protected] no later than 12:00 noon CST, Thursday March 5, 2015. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
