The purpose of this notice is to inform the vendor community of the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) intention to increase the maximum dollar ceiling of its Enterprise Technology Services Contract (ETSC) with Lockheed Martin Information Technology (Lockheed) by $13.3 million. The current ceiling was based on an assumption that the ETSC would end for non-Medicare related work on September 30, 2004 and continue for Medicare related work through the contract’s original ending date of January 31, 2006. The award of a replacement contract has been delayed because of the extent of competition that has been generated. The current contract for non-Medicate related work will continue until a replacement contract is awarded during the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2005 and a transition is completed not later than January 31, 2005.
