Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract


This is a notification that the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark to EID PASSPORT, INC. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 518210, with a size standard of 32.5 M.

The requirement is for the Rapid-RCX. Rapid-RCX is a program associated with the Rapidgate program. The remote credential checking system must be compatible with Rapidgate for the system to be functional.

The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract and will commence upon award.

This notice is not a request for quotations. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Reponses to this notification will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical information. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
