FOB Origin with desired delivery to HQ OSSG/DOME within 30 days after award. The Government anticipates a firm fixed price award on or about 18 Aug 05 on a sole source basis to Data Security Inc, Lincoln NE pursuant to FAR 6.203-1. CBD Note 22 applies. Degausser must meet DOD specifications for purging classified/sensitive information from hard disk media up to 5000 Oersteds including floppy disks, zip disks, jazz disks, and hard disk drives without removing the disk platters. Degausser must meet DOD specifications for purging all classified/sensitive information from tape media up to 2500 Oersteds including DLT III, DLT IV, Super DLT, LTO, 8 mm, DDS1, DDS2, DDS3, DDS4 and VHS. Degausser must accept hard drives to 1 inch high by 4 inches wide by 5.8 inches long. Degausser must be listed in the National Security Agency (NSA) Approved Degausser Products List(DPL). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
