The Government intends to enter into a firm-fixed-price contract with Rapidfire Systems LLC, 51 Market Square Road, Newnan, GA 30265-5673. The Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Fort Campbell, KY, has a requirement for FINLOG Database System. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The basis for restricting competition is that Rapidfire Systems LLC is the sole developer, distributor and provider of the FINLOG Database System. NAICS code for this procurement is 541519 and the small business size standard is $25M. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition, and awarded on an unrestricted basis. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government.
