Sources Sought Notice: · The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing 1 ea, P/N 951-0000 HD-1T DEGAUSSER, 1 year extended warranty and 6 month certification. FOB Destination with desired delivery to LMCA 307 E. POPSON EDWARDS AFB, CA 93524 within 30 days after award. The government anticipates a firm fixed price award on or about 26 April 2006 on a sole source basis to Data Security Inc, Lincoln NE pursuant to FAR 6.203-1. CBD Note 22 applies. Degausser must meet DOD specifications for purging classified/sensitive information from hard disk media up to 5000 Oersteds including floppy disks, zip disks, jazz disks, and hard disk drives without removing the disk platters. Degausser must meet DOD specification for purging all classified/sensitive information from tape media up to 2500 Oersteds including DLT III, DLT IV, Super DLT, LTO, 8 mm, DDSI, DDS2, DDS3, DDS4 and VHS. Degausser must accept hard drives to 1 inch high by 4 inches wide by 5.8 inches long. Degausser must be listed in the National Security Agency (NSA) approved Degausser Products List (DPL).
