This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with CRAIC Technologies for the following items:

One year service maintenance contract on the CRAIC Technologies QDI 2010 MSP along with an additional month to cover the lapse in coverage between the previous contract and the new. This will be GOLD level service which will include priority 2 years technical support, parts and labor, NIST standard recertification, and one Preventative Maintenance (PM) visit.

The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 28 Mar 14 10:00 am, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
