The U.S. General Services Administration’s Federal Technology Service intends to issue a Sole Source award to COMTECH MOBILE DATACOM CORPORATION , under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source.” The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-08.

The purpose of this requirement is to initiate an IDIQ contract to fulfill the client’s recurring requirement for COMTECH XCVRs and DP LNAs.

52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial (JAN 2005). The offeror must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the ORCA website at http://orca.bpn.gov. After reviewing the ORCA database information, the offeror verifies by submission of this offer that the representations and certifications currently posted electronically at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, have been entered or updated in the last 12 months, are current, accurate, complete, and applicable to this solicitation (including business size standard applicable to the NAICS code referenced for this solicitation), as of the date of this offer and are incorporated in this offer by reference (see FAR 4.1201); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.

The proposed contract action is to acquire COMTECH XCVRs and DP LNAs for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This request is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.
