Notice of Intent to award to Adelphia Cable, 1967 Glynn Avenue, Brunswick, Georgia 31520 for basic expanded cable television service in all dormitory rooms, TV rooms, and specified designated offices, townhouses, and conference rooms throughout the FLETC Glynco, Georgia facility. The FLETC Procurement Division proposes to procure this requirement on a sole source basis with Adelphia Cable in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” Adelphia Cable is the only cable television service provider in the Glynn County, Georgia area and has a fifteen (15) year franchise agreement with both the city and county which expires April 2018.
