This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 4TFG57032166 and is issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. This requirement is being set aside for small business pursuant Subpart 19.000 and Subpart 19.5. This requirement is for the contractor to provide informal training, technical support, upgrading and testing of equipment, documentation, assist with installation and check-out of equipment, validation/verification and reports. Desired period of performance is from date of award through 31 May 03. The following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, award will be made to the offeror who will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders (a); (b) 0(1), (3), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10), (16).
