The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Federal Edge, Inc. of 1735 Spruce Street, Riverside, Ca. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3571. The NAICS code is 334111. This procurement is for support of the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) Technicial Library. The following items will be procured: 1 PSSC Labs Powerwulf Cluster that includes the following: 1 PSSC Dual Opteron Head Node (mfr. p/n: PS-HN-DO246-4), 47 PSSC Dual Opteron Slave Node (PS-SN-DO246-4), 1 CbeST System Software v. 3.0 (PS-CEBEST), 1 PSSC Operation/ Installation Manual (PS-MAN), 1 4.0 TB Rackmount EIDE-SCSI RAID System (PS-RM-E/S-4TB), 1 Portland Group Compilers (PS-PGI-WS-640), 1 year of maintenance for Portland Group Compilers (PS-PGI-MAINT), 2 45U Open 4 post rack (PS-OPEN-RACK), 48 Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Switch (PS-48-GIGE), 49 Cat5 E Network Cable (PS-CAT5E), 10 Rackmount UPS, 2200, 6 outlet, 20A (PS-RM-UPS2200), 1 Maintenance Kit including 2 hard drives and one power supply (PS-MAINT-KIT), Onsite Installation including travel and expenses, and any shipping and handling fees. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government’s requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to www.arnet.gov to get a copy or contact the contract specialist by email to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is June 16, 2004. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, June 15, 2004.
