The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to DY 4 Systems Inc., on other than full and open competitive basis for 1 each CHAMP-AV IV 6U VME DSP Card with two 64 bit/100MHz PMC-X/PMC sites, four EIA-232 serial ports, Gigabit Ethernet interface to each processor and on-board Gigabit Ethernet switch, P/N SVME-416-0020; 1 each CHAMPtools suite of software items for use with the CHAMP-AV IV board, P/N DSW-416-000-CD; 1 each MNT-416-000-CD Software Upgrade Program; 1 each Inter-Processor Communications Library, P/N DSW-DEV-IPC-000-CD; 1 each MNT-DEV-IPC-000-CD Software Upgrade Program; 1 each Front panel serial cable for Air Cooled configurations of the CHAMP-AV-IV, P/N CBL-416-020. Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ. Sole source based on having unique capabilities to DY 4 Systems Inc. (Microsoft IE Required). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
