The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with GE Intelligent Platforms Embedded Systems, Inc. 7401 Snaproll NE Albuquerque, NM 87109-4358 to provide (4) 6U OPENVPX GPGPU Multiprocessor Level I and (1) 6U OPENVPX Starter Cage with 4 Slot BP. GE Intelligent Platforms Embedded Systems, Inc. is the only source that can provide the specific 6U OPENVPS GPGUPU Multiprocessor Level I and 6U OPENVPX Starter Cage with 4 Slot BP. The Multiprocessor Level I must have the following specifications: Quad Core, Core-i7 (SV) at 2.3 GHZ; 16 GB DDR3 SDRAM; 10 GBASEKX4 Ethernet; Max Performance Bios; 1" Pitch, VITA 46. The Multiprocessor Level I must also be compatible with existing systems. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within four (4) days after the publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 334418.
