Arcata Associates, Inc. has a requirement for a contractor to research, compile,develop and produce an interactive multimedia DVD highlighting existing NASA AeronauticalEducational and web based curriculum. The educational DVD is primarily intended for useby students and teachers in the K-12 range, but is also anticipated to be used by thegeneral public. The DVD must be self-contained and operate independent from any internetconnection. A master file copy and duplication as deemed necessary by NASA. In addition,minimum computer hardware and software requirements will be provided or noted on themaster DVD. NASA will retain all rights of the final product and provide appropriatecredits to supporting parties.See the uploaded Request for Proposal for all detailed information.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for items prepared in accordance with theformat in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in thisnotice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as aRequest for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation willnot be issued. Offerors are required to submit their proposal for bid. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than October 13, 2009. Responses to the potential questions will be posted onor before October 16, 2009. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (ifany).
