This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), Fort Detrick, MD in support of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRID), Fort Detrick, MD.

REQUIRED LINE ITEM: V-Plex NHP Cytokine 24-Plex Kit QTY: 1

DESCRIPTION: The Kit must consists of 3 independent panels-Proinflammatory Panel 1 (NHP), Cytokine Panel 1 (NHP), and Chemokine Panel 1 (NHP). The panels must detect secreted biomarkers in a variety of tissues and body fluids. The panels must be composed of assays against non-human primate cytokines and chemokines. The cytokine and chemokine must deal with inflammation, the Th1/Th2 pathway, chemotaxis, the Th17 pathway, angiogenesis, and immune system regulation. Must have a 24-plex panel that can be initially used as a screening panel to identify relevant biomarkers that can then be assembled into a custom panel for long-term study. The NHP Cytokine 24-Plex Panel Kit must provide assay-specific components for the quantitative determination of 24 cytokines in non-human primate serum and plasma. DELIVERY: These items are needed at a USAMRID in Fort Detrick, MD, 21702-5711. Delivery is FOB Destination no later than 30 days after date of contract.

Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price technically acceptable (See FAR 52.212-2 in Clause attachement) and any resulting contract will be issued as an open market Firm Fixed Price Award.
