There is no solicitation. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Division in Portland, OR has plans to award using other than full and open competition to Bell Laboratories Inc. of Madison Wisconsin for a Brodifacoum based product for use rat eradication at Wake Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. Bell Laboratories is the only know manufacturer of rodenticide in the USA that produces a Brodifacoum based product registered with the EPA for the specific conservation (Brodifacoum-25W Conservation, EPA # 56228-36). The Service intends to award Sole Source to Bell Laboratories of Madison Wisconsin. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is not a request for competitive proposals.
