This announcement is to notify all qualified interested parties that the 50th Contracting Squadron anticipates release of a competitive, 100% 8(a) set aside solicitation for the procurement of Noxious Weed Eradication Services for Schriever AFB, CO. Anticipated solicitation release date is on or about 11 June 2004. Contractor responsibility includes, but is not limited to, the eradication of weeds including, but not limited to, diffuse knapweed, Canada thistle, field bindweed, puncurevine, common burdock, yellow sweetclover, Russian thistle, goatsbeard, tumble mustard, and kochnia. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561730 with a size standard of $6 million. The 50th Contracting Squadron anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract from the anticipated solicitation.
