36C24418Q9252 AIRGAS SOLICITATION QUESTIONS / CLARIFICATIONS B.4 Price/Cost Schedule   1). In regard to the Helios rental tank CLINS, the RFQ states a quantity of 96.  Please note that the rental tanks are priced per unit, per month.  We show an estimated monthly quantity of 16 units rented per month.  The unit of measure for rental should be per unit, per month.  (Average of 16 units per month times 12 months.) Please see information from the SOW in regards to approximate usage: Delivery Requirements The HJ Heinz Division requires liquid oxygen fills three times per week. Contractor shall supply six liquid oxygen reservoir units (approximately 100 lbs. In capacity), which are compatible with the Puritan Bennett c-1000 portable liquid oxygen unit. These companion units are standardized for inpatients at the VAPHS HJ Heinz division. The University Drive Division requires liquid oxygen fills three times per week. Contractor shall supply two liquid oxygen reservoir units (approximately 100 lbs. In capacity), which are compatible with the Puritan Bennett c-1000 portable liquid oxygen unit. These companion units are standardized for inpatients at the VAPHS University Drive division. If vendors choose to quote on a different measure please notate the price schedule in your response. 2.) For the oxygen CLINS, we believe that the estimated annual volume should be no more than 45,000 lbs., based on actual delivery history volumes. Quantities provided are an estimate only, please notate the price schedule in your response with recommended quantities. 3.) In regard to the C-1000 rental tanks, the base year is missing this CLIN.  Is this is an oversight or are no C-1000 rental tanks required for the base year?  Is 48 the quantity of rental tanks that are required per month or per year? Please also note that the unit of measure for pricing rental should be per unit, per month (the RFQ has a unit of measure of LB.)  See attached corrected price schedule. 4.) We currently charge a delivery fee, per delivery, due to the labor required.   Please advise if the government will give consideration to adding CLINS for the base year and option years for a delivery charge. The unit of measure would be "EA" or each and the estimated annual total would be "TBD" or to be determined, based on the actual number of deliveries.  If vendors choose to quote on a different measure please notate the price schedule in your response. 5.)
