INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FAR 13.106-1(b) This is a notice of intent for Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Systems Medical Center, 100000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, Fl 33744 intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Gurtler Chemicals, Inc. for the laundry facility. This requirement is to provide chemicals: Power Jolt, Alkali 46 Dr, NDT Endorse, Detergent 2Dr,NDT Envirozyme, Enzyme 4 Dr, NDT conditioner 10Dr, NDT Neutraclor Anticlor 6Dr, NDT Sour Plus Sour 12Dr,NDT Softener, 6Dr, Control plus, Oxalic Acid 9 Dr. and equipment. The Government believes that only one business can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) - access to proprietary information. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Friday 30, March, 2012 at 2PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
