NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to Vicon Motion Systems, Inc, 7388 S Revere Parkway, Centennial, CO 80112. The Government has a need to procure a Vicon Bonita System, Vicon Nexus Software and Vicon Polygon. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting a white paper, technical data for the item, and past performance data no later than 4:00pm PST on September 24, 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
