The United States Special Command (SOCOM) intends to award a modification to contract USZA22-03-D-0004 awarded to Tactical Support Equipment, Inc., 6504 Bagdad Road, Fayetteville, NC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to increase the contract ceiling and extend the ordering period for one year which will allow the purchase additional Special Operations Tactical Video System and Reconnaissance Surveillance Target Acquisition (SOTVS/RSTA) family of interoperable hand and remotely operated digital camera systems. SOCOM has a requirement to procure up to 134 additional Tactical Reconnaissance Kits and Talking Sensor Kits, and 162 additional Remote Observation Post (ROP) Kits and related spares. SOCOM also has a requirement to select and procure improved night-vision optics for SOTVS/RSTA systems as well as software to provide an improved video compression capability for the fielded equipment. Deliveries are required to beigin within 90 calendar days. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal. See Numbered note 22.
