This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; firm-fixed price, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued by the National Archives and Records Administration, 8601 Adelphi Road, College Park, MD 20740-6001. RFQ No. NAMA-06-Q-0048 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 effective August 4, 2006. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 443130. The government reserves the right to make an award on the initial quote without discussions on this procurement. Award will be made to the Offeror that submits the lowest price technically acceptable offer.The proposed acquisition will require the contractor to provide HASSELBLAD BRAND NAME PRODUCT. This requirement is issued under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c) ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement-Brand name description?. REQUIREMENT: Item No. 0001, HASSELBLAD CF-39MS/H2 Kit H2 Camera Body with 80mm Lens, viewfinder, CF39-MS Digital Back, 39 megapixel (million pixels) area-array digital camera back, with single-shot and 4-shot modes, on an auto-focus, auto-exposure, medium-format camera body with standard 80mm lens for digital copy and studio photography. The camera body shall have interchangeable lens, prism/viewfinder, and back capabilities. The 39 megapixel back shall be usable on other camera as well (not dedicated to a single make or type of camera).
