Notice of Intent to Sole Source:
Camera Equipment and Pretesting

The ACC, APG, C4ISR Sector H, Fort Huachuca, AZ intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Priced Blanket Purchase Agreement to OFUS CORPORATION, doing business as Integrity Data for Canon EOS 5 D Mark II reset Kits, Canon EOS 5D Mark II Standardized Kits and Assault Packs for the 55th Combat Camera Company, 21st Signal Brigade, Fort Meade Maryland and 982nd Combat Camera Army Reserve, Fort Gordon, Georgia. Respondents must submit a Letter of Supply from Canon U.S.A. Inc indicating they are an authorized vendor to provide Canon products to the DOD. Respondent will also need to show that they are able to provide the following kits in the form of a complete system, to include a system integrity test.

The proposed contract action is for supplies and support for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government by submission of a technical capability statement. The contractor shall use their own format and the capability statement shall be 2 pages or less. Responses must include product specification as well as price estimates along with narrative on how the product would function or be interoperable in filling the Government need.

This notice of intent is not a request for proposal, request for quotation or an invitation for bid, nor does its issuance obligate or restrict the Government on its eventual acquisition approach. No RFQ will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. Information received no later than 10:00 a.m. Arizona time, April 07, 2011, will be reviewed by the Government. All information received from this notice shall be used for planning and market research purposes only. The Government shall not pay for the preparation of any information submitted or use of such information. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the evaluation of the information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

The Justification and approval (J&A), Citing the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Will be posted for public inspection on or about the end of April 2011.
