This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contacting Office 8, Regional Procurement Office East, on behalf of the Miami VA Healthcare System located at 1201 NW 16th St, Miami, Florida intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source award to Hologic, LLC, 250 Campus Dr., Marlborough, MA 01752 in support of the Pathology and Laboratory Department of the Miami VA Healthcare Center. The proposed contract is for the ThinPrep ®T2000 Processor This sole source award to Hologic, LLC. is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deems only one source reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotes, or capability statement. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101.
