The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source award to Illumnia, Inc. for the NEXTSEQ 2000 DNA Sequencing System for the Durham VA Medical Center located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC, 27705. The Durham VAMC Research Service is one of five VA Medical Centers supporting a national sequencing mission project. In order to maintain data continuity and provide comparable results between the five VA medical center sites participating in this research, the Durham VAMC requires the NextSeq 2000 Sequencing System. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole source provider of the NEXTSEQ 2000 DNA Sequencing System and all associated products and installation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted.
