NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6), intends to negotiate on a sole source, firm-fixed-price price VISN-wide Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Biomerieux, Inc, 100 Rodolphe Street, Durham, NC 27712-9402 (DUNS 086785110). This procurement is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The BPA will be effective October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2026 with one (1) pre-priced one year option for renewal. This procurement is for estimated quantities of various antibodies, reagents, and consumables used to provide Identification and Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing (ID/AST) for use with existing VITEK® 2 ID/AST Systems for multiple VISN 6 Pathology Departments. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325413 and business size standard of 1,250 employees. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT announcement only. Any responsible source capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than 30 October 2021 at 1:00 PM EDST.
