The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 21- is conducting a market research survey to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing an Abbott M2000 for 36C261-21-AP-4103. The San Francisco VAMC intends to maintain the current installed M2000 as a solution for CTNG testing until the Alinity gets FDA approval for the assay. The M2000 has the same test formulations as the Alinity so it is the only suitable backup at this time for all molecular testing done as SFVA. These items are proprietary to the vendor and on contract FFS V797D-40222. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Vendor would provide all instrumentation and reagents in accordance with the attached statement of work and supplies and reagents list as an authorized distributor for Abbott at a cost advantageous to the Government in a manner that does not interrupt patient care.
