INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Veterans Affairs Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN 6) Network Contracting Office intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Ventana Medical Systems, 1910 E Innovation Park Drive, Tucson, AZ 85737. The requirement is for Ventana consumables (reagents, antibodies, and supplies) for the Salisbury VA Medical Center for FY15. The consumables are specific to Ventana H&E Stainer, Benchmark, and Symphony staining equipment. The consumables are used to perform slide-based tissue analysis and diagnosis of cancer and infectious disease. NAICS code 325413 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement must submit information about their capabilities no later than 10:00AM EST, August 6, 2014 to: [email protected]. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures.
