Synopsis:
This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Mission and Installation Command Contracting (MICC), Fort Knox, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Trimble R8-3 Base and Rover Sets. NAICS 334519 (size standard: 500 employees) applies to this procurement. This solicitation will be unrestricted. A firm-fixed price contract shall be awarded. All responsible sources may submit a bid. The invitation for bid will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities, FedBizOpps, www.fbo.gov on or about 08 August 2012 with bids due on or before 18 September 2012. These dates are subject to change. All amendments to this IFB will be likewise posted on this website. Contractors shall download the IFB from the website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. All contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) to be eligible for award of a contract. Electronic submission of bids will not be accepted. Only hardcopy bids will be accepted. All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the instructions outlined in the IFB.
