The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure a Teradyne Spectrum 9100 Series Functional Tester along with ancillary hardware, software and support from Teradyne Inc., 600 River Park Drive, North Reading, MA 01864 14225. The aforementioned equipment is required to ensure that current software from existing government owned Teradyne test equipment could be utilized. This requirement will be issued under Solicitation N00024-04-R-4315 pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Teradyne Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and sole producer of the aforementioned equipment. The Government intends to acquire commercial Items using FAR Part 12. See note 22*****
