The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency [U S EPA] Environmental Sciences Division [ESD] intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation [FAR] Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Radic-Research of Berlin, Germany, , under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase a Spectral Induced Polarization System and accessories for 120 electrodes, including instrumented [wired] laboratory experimental columns for either 1-D column experiments or 3-D tomography. It has been determined that Radic Research is the only vendor uniquely qualified to meet this requirement as no other instrument available has the multiplexing capacity as required, and no other can provide integrade laboratory experimental columns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 423490. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE [RFQ] IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA’s requirement as stated herein may submit a response which, if received within 15 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered.
