The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Visn#2) Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, New York 12208 is conducting discussions for a Cost Per Test reagent rental agreement w/ Bayer Corp. 115 Norwood Park South, Norwood Ma. 02062 for HIV-RNA 2.0 (bNDA) Quantitation Assay Testing, and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) RNA 3.0 (bDNA) Quantitation Assay Testing. All interested parties are requested to give written notification including all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specification etc.). The proposed contract action is for a Cost Per Test Agreement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. The Government will consider all proposals received by August 1, 2002. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
