This notice is to serve as a Pre-Solicitation Notice to procure QuantiFeron-TB Gold Elisa and QuantiFeron-TB Gold Tubes under FAR Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Items", FAR Part 13, "Simplified Acquisition Procedures" and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Award will be made to Cellestis, Inc, who is the only known vendor that develops and markets QuantiFeron technology products. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must be received by September 15, 2011. The NAICS code for this effort is 325413, "In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing", with a small business size standard of 500 employees. No Solicitation will be issued.
