NASA/GSFC has a requirement one Pyroprobe 5200 Pyrolyzer with Thermal Desorptionand Reactant Gas Operation and installation of this instrument. The pyrolyzer must havethe following requirements: Compatibility with a Thermo Trace gas chromatograph; Interface options via built-in trap and direct to GC; probe interface;Filament programmable in 1C increments to 1400C;Interface temperature settable in 1C increments to 350C;Trap heating rate 800C/minuteTrap temperature ambient to 350C;Compatibility of consumables and parts with Pyroprobe 5200;Installation required.NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from CDS Analytical, Inc. pursuant to FAR 13.106,for the acquisition of supplies determined to be reasonably available from only onesource.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:30PM EST on datelisted above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
