Purchase one (1) each MBARI-ISUS or equal in situ spectrometer. Must use ultraviolet absorption technique to measure the concentration of inorganic nitrate in coastal and offshore waters. Spectrometer must not use any chemical reagents or other chemicals to determine real-time nitrate concentrations. Spectrometer must provide data +/- 0.25 micrometer sensitivity with 1% accuracy, and be able to be deployed in a variety of modes. Spectrometer must be able to be used on research ships as part of a traditional CTD array or integrated with towed vehicles (e.g., SEASOR) where data stream is incorporated with those other instruments. Spectrometer must also be able to be deployed on moored arrays where data may be stored within the instrument or included with those that may be transmitted to shore-based institutions via satellite. Provide 1) federal tax identification number, 2) Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, 3) lead time, and 4) make and model offered. Descriptive literature requested if other than MBARI-ISUS is offered. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
