The Edgewood Contracting Division of RDECOM intends to award a sole source contract to FLIR Systems, located at 25 Esquire Road, North Bellerica, MA 01862, for one FLIR P620 24 degrees camera system. It is needed for the work conducted at the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, APG South. The award will be Firm Fixed Price type contract. The delivery of this equipment will be within 30 calendar days after contract is awarded .The NAICS code for this requirement is 333314 and has a size standard of 500 employees.

All bidders must be registered in the Central Contracting Registry (CCR) to participate in this requirement.

The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency.
