The USGS intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to Scintrex Limited of Concord, Ontario, Canada for a CG-5 Autograv Gravity Meter. This is the only known instrument that can meet the needs of the USGS and Scintrex is the only know supplier. The proposed contract action is for goods for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Menlo Park, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer ([email protected]) by e-mail only no later than the response date shown on this announcement. This requirement is pending availability of funds and will be processed to point of award.
